Welcome to Cottage By The Sea, a newly remodeled charming retreat just steps from the pristine Gulf of Mexico beaches on Anna Maria Island, nestled in the serene area of Bradenton Beach. This delightful getaway blends the nostalgic charm of one of the only “Old Florida” cottages left, with modern updates, featuring bright and sunny décor. It’s time to leave your worries behind and embrace the tranquility of paradise!
Notes
The cottage has a maximum occupancy of 6 people, including children. The person making the reservation must be at least 23 years old and must stay on the property during the entire stay. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
Please note that Bradenton Beach has a strict noise ordinance in place. Excessive noise must cease by 10 pm, and all visitors must leave the cottage by 10 pm as well. If we receive complaints about disruptive behavior that impacts the enjoyment of neighbors, you may be asked to leave without a refund.
Parties, smoking, and filming are not permitted on the property.
The property allows a maximum of two vehicles, which includes golf carts if you plan to bring one. Please be aware that the parking area is tight, so two large vehicles may not fit comfortably.
Access
The cottage has two private entrances, one with a keyless entry, and two parking spaces. The back entrance exits onto the tropical patio

As your house manager at “Cottage By The Sea”, our mission is that you have the absolute best stay possible on this little piece of paradise called Anna Maria Island. We want you to feel totally relaxed so you will not see us unless you need us! We have been in the hospitality business for over 30 years and love every bit of it so if you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to reach out – we are here for you.
Neighbourhood
The cottage is located, in what we call, the “quiet part of Bradenton Beach” Just mere steps from a gorgeous section of beach, this cottage is perfect for walking, biking, beach combing, and just plain relaxing. The trolley stop is just right at the end of the street when you want to venture out and explore the busier parts of the island (the island is only 7 miles long so basically you could walk everywhere!)
You are just steps from some of the most gorgeous white sand beaches you will encounter! Take your time, relax, enjoy the laid back atmosphere of one of the last “old Florida” towns and don’t stress – we call it “island time” 🙂

This Old Florida cottage is the perfect getaway! The combination of cozy spaces, beach access, and tropical charm really seems like a dream vacation spot. Whether you’re relaxing inside, playing games in the Florida room, or soaking up the sun on the beach, it seems like there’s no shortage of ways to unwind. The addition of beach essentials like towels, chairs, and a wagon makes it even easier to enjoy the beach without any hassle. It’s a wonderful spot for making lasting memories!
