Aloha and welcome to our bit of old Florida. Ohana Hale Gulfside is 250 feet to the white sand beaches and turquoise water. Come join us for your holiday in the sun. The ideal bungalow for a couple or small family. This one bedroom, one bath with kitchenette is made for your best vacation memories. This unit is only one block to the beach and one block to the popular Bridge Street shopping district with wonderful restaurants and the Bradenton Beach Pier!
Interaction
Your house managers, Fawn and Kevan, have been in the hospitality business for over 30 years. “Our kids grew up on the island and we adore it! We love what we do and take joy in making sure our guests have a fantastic time at our little island paradise. We are right around the corner so if you need anything at all, please reach out!”
The owners, Danny and Brenda, have lived in the area since 2000 and their daughter, Katie, has grown up in and around the island. We are on the island daily and we can give you any tips or recommendations for eateries or activities or quiet places to relax. We let our guest have their space. We love our guests so we treat you like “Ohana”.
Neighborhood
This charming unit is in Bradenton Beach. Anna Maria Island consist of 3 cities. The City of Anna Maria is at the northern tip of the island, Holmes Beach is the big brother in the middle and Bradenton Beach is the southern third of the island. You are one block to an absolutely gorgeous beach and one block to the Historic Bridge Street where there are eateries and shops. At the end of Bridge Street is the Bridge Street Pier, overlooking Anna Maria Sound & Bay which is a great place to fish, walk or people watch. Take a stroll to the end and sit on the swings and just let time slowly pass.
Access
We have a patio common area where the grill is. The bungalow is ground level but there are a few steps in and out within the unit.
Space
Our Hale has just been totally refurbished. Suite C was originally a US Army barrack bungalow on the northern tip of Anna Maria Island. It was then moved to its current location. The bathroom features porcelain tile and a walk-in shower. The Kitchenette features a stainless steel counter-top with a stainless steel sink and a commercial style faucet. You have an Induction hotplate to do light cooking, a toaster oven and microwave with a small & larger refrigerator to round out the kitchen.
The living room features a 43″ LED TV with YouTube TV and high speed internet. You’ll have everything you will need except clothes and food. There are beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. Don’t want to cook indoors? There is a gas grill available.
There is a shared washer and dryer on the premises. This amenity may be restricted to the afternoons Mon thru Friday only due to sharing with the housekeepers. Check with your property manager to get code and schedule.
Transit
Don’t want to drive? No problem, There is a free trolley that will take you up and down the island. The county offers a trolley or there is the private Monkey Bus and a few restaurants offer a free ride via golf carts. Uber and Lyft rideshare also service Anna Maria Island. You can also walk to many areas or rent a bike for your stay.
